PSG HOLIDAY PROGRAMME
We provide constructive alternatives during the school holidays to help students develop areas such as life-skills, self-esteem, confidence and promote parent-child bonding.

Dear Parents,
It is my great pleasure to write this message as the newly appointed President of Rosyth School Parent Support Group (PSG).
It has been an exciting 6 months since I took up this responsibility. The past 6 months have been a truly rewarding experience for me as I work alongside many dedicated individuals from the school staff and parents’ pool.
Rosyth PSG is a non-profit voluntary organization. Our aim is to bridge the communication between the school and the parents as well as organize exciting programs for our Rosythians.
Educating children has always been imperative so as to prepare our children to inherit the world. But it is not just the responsibility of the school as the PSG is a close partner of the school, supporting its educational goals. However, the PSG is not just a partner of the school, it serves as an important platform to provide a two-way communication between the school and parents too. By saying this, the PSG will continue to improve the communication network, thus facilitating a better learning environment for our children.
We are pleased to announce that in March 2017, we have launched an online registration portal for our holiday programs to cater to busy parents, so that they can register and make payment online instead of traveling down to school.
We have also launched the membership registration online since October 2017. This allows potential members to sign up with ease at the comfort of their homes. In another move to streamline our registration process, our PSG members now only need to provide mobile numbers to verify their membership, hence doing away with the need to issue membership cards. In doing so, we are improving our work flow and also doing our part to reduce carbon footprint.
In 2017, our program team organised many exciting programs like Nurturing A Reader workshop for parents, a talk On Raising A Confident And Responsive Child With Initiatives, Family Bonding Movie event, Laser Combat – our first Dads for Life program, 2D1N The Ultimate Challenge Camp and our ever popular Edu-Tour program which was the Prata Journey and Forest Adventure. Our programs focus on allowing Rosythians to enjoy an enriching yet holistic learning experience out of the classroom as per our belief.
2017 ended with our most anticipated annual event – the Rosyth PSG Dinner and Dance. This annual function is in honour of all our parent volunteers who have contributed in making all of the Rosyth School and PSG activities a success. The theme, ‘When Storybook Comes Alive’ was to allow us parents and children to live out our fantasies. I believe we can be whoever we want to be and we can write our own story.
In 2018, we have lined up more exciting programs and we look forward to your participation and support. We will be working to launch our new website and meanwhile, please look out for more regular updates under the PSG link in the Rosyth School website.
Hereby wishing all of you the very best for the year 2018.
Sincerely,
Ms Eunice Tay
President
